I was fortunate to be given a scholarship to attend the 2016 Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. Working on social staff was a terrific experience. Along with attending workshops and lectures; working various jobs to support the conference; staff also were invited to read in the Little Theater. This is a recording from the second night of staff readings. The line up: Justin Boening, Noah Stetzer, Jason Lamb, Conor Burke, Jamel Brinkley, Sara Burnett, Leah Bailly, and Steven Kleinman.
This recording includes my new poem, “The Game of Catch,” which had its premier this night (as second reader it the line-up, I’m somewhere round minute 4).
