Noah Stetzer is a graduate from The MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College and also a scholarship recipient from the Lambda Literary Retreat for Emerging LGBT Writers and from the Bread Loaf Writer’s Conference. His chapbook, Because I Can See Needing a Knife (2016) was published by Red Bird Chapbooks.

Noah’s poems have appeared at:  Sixth Finch, Waxwing, Cortland Review, New England Review, Bellevue Literary Review, and other various journals.

Noah’s poems have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, for Best New Poets, and for Best of the Net. He has won both the 2015 Christopher Hewitt Award for Poetry & the 39th New Millennium Award for Poetry. Noah’s full-length poetry manuscript has been recognized as both a semi-finalist and a finalist in a number of annual poetry manuscript contests including as a finalist in the 2020 National Poetry Series Competition

Associate Director at Bull City Press, Noah is from Pittsburgh PA, currently lives in on Long Island in Sayville, NY.
